Debt Relief denotes the condition in which the debts owed by the borrowers are supposed to be forgiven so as to facilitate the particular individual or concern, which owes the debt. They are exempted from paying back the incurred debt. The certain higher organizational body often pays the sum, which is borrowed by the borrower. In the developing countries, during the time of flood and famine, sum borrowed by the poor people and farmers are forgiven so as bring back of the hope of life in the minds of people. The poor farmers in these countries are reported to commit suicide due to their inability to pay the debts to the bankers. Hence the governments in these countries pay the bankers the incurred sum thus relieving the state of stress and bother from the minds of these people. This is an example for the debt relief. As there are certain good and bad things associated with the implementation of these plans in the day today life. Good deeds that it provides is that it encourages the poor farmer to lead the life happily even at the time of adversity.

 It also revives hope of survival in the minds of those people living in complete state of distress. Personal loans are also exempted from repayment depending on the condition of the borrower at the time of repayment. It has certain minor flaws as far as the administration part is concerned. These facts if taken into considerations may lead to total success of the motive intended by the framers.
